Booking Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply to travel services booked through Haram Trip.

Official UK Travel Agency
ATOL Protected #74904

Last updated: 9 September 2026

These Booking Terms and Conditions apply to travel services booked through Haram Trip.

Please read them carefully before confirming a booking.

Your quotation, booking confirmation, invoice, relevant supplier conditions and these Booking Terms may all form part of the information governing your booking.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

1. About Haram Trip

Haram Trip is operated by:

Legal entity: Haram Trip

Registered address: 13 station road London SE25 5AH

Email: info@haramtrip.co.uk

Phone: 07700171892

Depending on the arrangements purchased, Haram Trip may arrange or facilitate travel services provided by airlines, hotels, transport operators, tour operators, wholesalers or other travel suppliers.

Where another provider, organiser or principal is legally responsible for particular travel arrangements, this should be identified in the relevant booking documentation.

2. Financial Protection

When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

“We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier are able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).”

“If we, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL certificate, are unable to provide the services listed (or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme. You agree that in return for such a payment or benefit you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims which you have or may have arising out of or relating to the non-provision of the services, including any claim against us, the travel agent (or your credit card issuer where applicable). You also agree that any such claims may be re-assigned to another body, if that other body has paid sums you have claimed under the ATOL scheme.”

3. Making a Booking

A quotation or enquiry does not create a confirmed booking.

A booking is normally confirmed when:

  • The required payment has been received or accepted
  • The relevant travel services have been confirmed
  • Written booking confirmation has been issued

Before paying, you should carefully review:

  • Passenger names
  • Travel dates
  • Flights
  • Hotels
  • Number of nights
  • Room occupancy
  • Meal arrangements
  • Transfers
  • Inclusions and exclusions
  • Total price
  • Payment schedule
  • Amendment conditions
  • Cancellation conditions

The lead passenger must be at least 18 years old and authorised to make the booking on behalf of all travellers included in it.

4. Accurate Passenger Information

Passenger names must match the passports that will be used for travel.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate:

  • Names
  • Dates of birth
  • Passport details
  • Nationality
  • Contact details
  • Travel requirements

Incorrect information may result in:

  • Amendment fees
  • Replacement tickets
  • Visa difficulties
  • Supplier charges
  • Travel disruption

Where costs arise because incorrect information was supplied by a customer, those reasonable costs may be passed on where legally permitted.

5. Prices and Quotations

Prices shown on the Haram Trip website may be:

  • Indicative
  • "From" prices
  • Based on particular room occupancy
  • Subject to availability

Your final price will be stated in your quotation or booking confirmation.

Prices can vary according to:

  • Travel dates
  • Flight availability
  • Departure airport
  • Hotel availability
  • Room occupancy
  • Supplier pricing
  • Exchange-rate movements
  • Taxes or fees
  • Additional services requested

A quotation remains subject to availability until the booking is confirmed.

6. Payments

Payment deadlines will be stated on your quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.

If payment is not received when due, travel arrangements may no longer remain available and the booking may be affected.

Where suppliers have already imposed charges or non-refundable commitments, cancellation costs may apply.

7. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements

Every traveller is responsible for ensuring they have appropriate:

  • Passport
  • Visa
  • ETA or other entry authorisation
  • Umrah permit where required
  • Health documentation
  • Other required travel documents

Requirements may depend on:

  • Nationality
  • Passport
  • Residency status
  • Travel history
  • Travel dates
  • Current Saudi regulations

Haram Trip may provide visa or entry assistance where this forms part of the agreed service, but final visa and immigration decisions are made by the relevant authorities.

8. Health and Vaccination Requirements

Travellers are responsible for checking and complying with applicable health and vaccination requirements.

Saudi requirements may change.

Customers should consult appropriate official sources and obtain professional medical advice where necessary.

Haram Trip does not provide medical advice.

9. Travel Insurance

Travellers should consider obtaining appropriate travel insurance from the time their booking is confirmed.

Depending on individual circumstances, suitable cover may include:

  • Medical expenses
  • Cancellation
  • Curtailment
  • Baggage
  • Travel disruption
  • Existing medical conditions where applicable

Travel insurance is separate from financial protection applying to travel-provider insolvency or other arrangements.

10. Special Requirements and Assistance

Tell Haram Trip before booking if any traveller requires:

  • Wheelchair assistance
  • Reduced-mobility assistance
  • Medical assistance affecting travel
  • Specific room arrangements
  • Dietary assistance
  • Other accessibility support

We will communicate appropriate requests to the relevant supplier where possible.

A request cannot be guaranteed unless it has been specifically confirmed.

11. Changes Requested by You

If you wish to change a confirmed booking, contact Haram Trip as soon as possible.

Changes may be subject to:

  • Availability
  • Airline rules
  • Hotel conditions
  • Supplier conditions
  • Additional supplier costs
  • Reasonable administration charges where applicable

Some tickets, hotel bookings or other travel services may be non-changeable once confirmed.

12. Cancellation by You

If you wish to cancel your booking, notify us as soon as possible.

Cancellation charges may depend on:

  • How close cancellation is to departure
  • The services booked
  • Airline conditions
  • Hotel conditions
  • Other supplier terms
  • Costs already incurred
  • Services already performed
  • Applicable consumer law

Where applicable law grants you additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.

13. Changes Before Departure

Airlines, hotels and other travel suppliers may occasionally make changes after confirmation.

Where we receive information about a change affecting your booking, we will communicate it as soon as reasonably possible.

The rights available to you will depend on:

  • The type of booking
  • The supplier involved
  • The significance of the change
  • Haram Trip's legal role in the arrangement
  • Applicable UK consumer or package-travel law

14. Cancellation by a Supplier or Travel Provider

A supplier or travel provider may occasionally cancel or materially change a service.

Where this happens, the options available to you will depend on the nature of the booking, supplier conditions and applicable law.

We will communicate the available information and options relating to your confirmed arrangements.

15. Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances

Travel arrangements can be affected by circumstances outside normal control, which may include:

  • War or serious security incidents
  • Natural disasters
  • Serious disease outbreaks
  • Government restrictions
  • Airport closures
  • Airspace closures
  • Major transport disruption

The legal consequences depend on the circumstances and type of booking.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove statutory rights that may apply in such situations.

16. Flights

Flights are operated by third-party airlines.

Airlines may change:

  • Flight times
  • Aircraft
  • Routes
  • Terminals
  • Operating arrangements

Travellers are responsible for complying with airline requirements including:

  • Check-in
  • Baggage
  • Travel documentation
  • Security
  • Boarding requirements

Where a flight change affects other confirmed travel services, contact Haram Trip as soon as reasonably possible.

17. Hotels and Accommodation

Hotel arrangements are based on the property, room category and services confirmed in your booking documentation.

Hotel star classifications may differ between countries and should not automatically be treated as equivalent to UK classifications.

Important considerations can include:

  • Location
  • Practical walking distance
  • Room category
  • Occupancy
  • Meal arrangement
  • Accessibility

For Umrah travellers, practical access to Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi may be a significant feature of the booking.

18. Alternative Accommodation

If confirmed accommodation becomes unavailable, an alternative may be offered where appropriate.

Relevant factors may include:

  • Hotel standard
  • Location
  • Practical access
  • Room configuration
  • Confirmed facilities

A similar star rating alone does not necessarily mean two hotels are equivalent.

19. Transfers and Ground Transport

Transfers may be shared or private according to the arrangements confirmed in your itinerary.

Transfer times can be affected by:

  • Flight delays
  • Immigration procedures
  • Traffic
  • Road restrictions
  • Group coordination
  • Operational conditions

Private or exclusive transport must be specifically confirmed in the booking documentation.

20. Where Haram Trip Acts as an Intermediary or Agent

For some travel services, Haram Trip may arrange services provided by another supplier or principal.

Where this applies:

  • The relevant supplier or principal should be identified
  • Supplier terms may also apply
  • Responsibility for the underlying service may depend on the booking structure and applicable law

Nothing in this section is intended to remove rights that customers have under applicable UK consumer law.

21. Package Travel Rights

Where a booking legally constitutes a package under applicable UK package-travel legislation, the statutory rights and responsibilities applying to that package remain unaffected by these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude responsibilities that applicable law places on the organiser of a package.

22. Problems During Travel

If you experience a problem during your journey:

  • Inform the relevant supplier as soon as possible
  • Contact Haram Trip where appropriate
  • Keep relevant documentation or evidence
  • Give the responsible party a reasonable opportunity to investigate or address the issue

Prompt notification can make it easier to resolve problems while you are travelling.

23. Complaints

If an issue cannot be resolved during your journey, contact Haram Trip after travel.

Please provide:

  • Your booking reference
  • Passenger name
  • Travel dates
  • Details of the issue
  • Relevant supporting evidence
  • Details of any supplier or representative contacted during the trip

Complaints should be sent to:

Email: info@haramtrip.co.uk

24. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot legally be excluded.

This includes applicable statutory consumer rights.

Travel services provided by airlines or other transport providers may also be subject to applicable international conventions, carrier conditions or transport legislation.

25. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Information may need to be shared with relevant suppliers and authorities where reasonably necessary to provide agreed travel services.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply elsewhere in the United Kingdom.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Booking Terms for future bookings.

The terms applying to an existing confirmed booking will normally be those provided or incorporated when that booking was made unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed.
